I haven’t been a member long. Just two years now. But I’ve been going to Lions games for much longer than that. I signed up two years ago as some of my friends were, and have enjoyed supporting the side. What an embarrassment of a guernsey they’re wearing though. What an utterly moronic, childish, ridiculous guernsey. 

I just don’t get it. The Brisbane Lions had far and away the best guernsey in the AFL, and then went and replaced it with what I can only assume was originally designed as the kids’ version.

If the board of the club aren’t aware, AFL GUERNSEYS ARE MEANT TO BE ABOUT HERITAGE. 

It’s not a matter of sprucing it up to keep with the times. Other clubs have tried it and have thankfully seen sense. Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs are the main two examples.

Please stop this nonsense so we can clear it out of the way and get back on track with being a successful club.
